Fun, a sense of humor, and optimism are just as crucial to El Ganso as craftsmanship, the quality of the materials, or the almost obsessive attention to detail.
This Spanish brand was founded in 2004 by Cebrián brothers and is available in 8 countries. It is a casual interpretation of British style for those who, although pretty messy, like a classy style.
Almost two decades ago, two twenty-two-year-old brothers with entrepreneurial spirits and restless minds founded a unique fashion brand in the heart of Madrid, Spain.
The brand emerged from a simple idea: sell preppy menswear at competitive prices. Iconic garments that are always affordable.
El Ganso, Spanish for (male) Goose, represented the idea of personality. Be fresh, natural, and free. Have a lot of personality and zero complexes. Be yourself. It’s like putting on a kilt and dancing cheekily.
The fragrance collection is a story of four friends with very different personalities. Who share the same vital life philosophy: Giving up those small daily pleasures that add colour to life is not an option. But to each his own. And it is precisely their differences that unite them the most. And it is that unique feeling of being among friends has inspired El Ganso to create its first fragrances.
Their round shapes of the fragrance bottles convey a friendly feeling as if they had known each other for a long time, but with the brand’s modern touch and casual elegance. The transparent glass allows us to appreciate what’s inside in the same way we can see what’s going on inside a friend’s mind by looking into their eyes. The logos give a vintage touch with the names of the fragrances. The caps of the bottles have a fabric touch and are more colourful. Its warm texture evokes the beginning of a long olfactory “bromance,” and the different colour combinations show the same style that respects uniqueness. As is always the case with friends, even with those we’ve always known, each bottle hides a surprise: when you open it, the message “HERE COMES THE FUN” appears inside.
Much like the masculine fragrance, the direction of the feminine fragrance range follows a very similar path.
